The JK905BP threading machine has the capability to thread PVC pipe sizes of 1″-8″ (8.625″ OD).

Dependable and Efficient

This threading machine has proven to be extremely dependable and trouble free. This system can be compared to a scaled down version of a CNC lathe but with more simplicity and ease of operation. The long term dependability is a result of converting to an electrical system instead of air. This design simplifies the machine by considerably reducing the number of parts required to operate. The JK905BP threading machine has been designed with the latest state of the art micro processing components. The machine’s ease of setup and supreme accuracy will truly amaze you.

• Main power supply: 240 volt 3 phase; approximate draw: 15 amps
• 3hp thread cutting motor powered by AC frequency drive and 2 hp motor for part off and oring groove
• Spindle rotated by a 1hp gear motor powered by an AC frequency drive
• Vacuum fixtures around cutters requires no less than 1 hp dust collection vacuum.

Approximate Thread Times:

• 4″ pipe 2 tpi, .042″ step, pin or box thread: 2-3 minutes
• 2″ pipe 2 tpi, .042″ step, pin or box thread: 1 1/2-2 minutes

Expandable Self Centering Pipe Chucks

The JK905BP threading machine is built with expandable self centering six jaw chucks for holding bell end and plain end pipe while threading. Chucks can be set on touch screen to open and close manually or automatically at start and thread completion.

The automatic chuck will make change over time faster and easier when switching between pipe sizes.

Touch Screen Programming

Ease of Operation

The touch screen programming gives you the ability to easily change thread dimensions. Each step of setting up the thread values is described on their own screen. Once you have entered the appropriate dimensions for each step, the information will be stored and will not have to be entered every time.

Thread Types

The JK905BP will cut thread types such as 2 TPI, 4 TPI, 8 TPI, 3 TPI, 11 1/2 NPT, 8 round taper, 6mm DIN, or 12mm DIN and more.

Machine will thread both male/pin and female/box threads.

This threading machine can be setup with 5-6 different thread pitches or types easily entered through touch screen. No gears, chains or lead screws to adjust. It is all electronically linked from spindle to actuator. Changing between pipe sizes is much simpler on this machine. First change pipe holding collets and thread cutter if going from ID to OD. From there you will press “Thread Selection” and select the appropriate TPI and thread recipe.
